2019 Honda Insight Hybrid MSRP

2019 Honda Insight Hybrid MSRP The 2019 Honda Insight is not only the most recent hybrid in the U.S. market from this writing, but it is also the third-cheapest in $23,725. That MSRP base puts it only a few hundred more than the 2018 iteration of Hyundai’s Ionic and a couple of bigger ones than the sad Toyota Prius C.

We recently conducted the 2019 insight, the third hybrid sedan in the Honda lineup, and we found a massive improvement over the previous-Gen insight that was retained at 2014. Each Insight shares a basic platform with the Civic. The LX base, according to Honda, offers a high EPA fuel economy of 55 mpg city and 49 mpg Road of its 1.5-liter inline-four and electric motor, and is even more comfortable and loaded with features than the Civic.

Standard equipment includes LED headlamps and Running lamps, 16-inch aluminum wheels, push-pull starter, and Honda detection safety technologies (automated emergency braking, front collision warning, maintenance assistance, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign reconnaissance, auto high-beams). Also onboard is a 5.0-inch touch screen Infotainment system with Pandora and six speakers.

Order the EX $24,995 to get an 8.0-inch touch screen with Apple and Android car, SiriusXM with HD Radio, two more speakers, and a second USB port. Split 60/40 rear folding seats, remote starter, proximity key input and ignition, and telematics HondaLink (remote unlocking, tracking, diagnostics, emergency roadside assistance, and more) are included, as is Honda’s LaneWatch, a Camera system that shows the blind spot on the right side of the car when it activates the right turn signal.

The $28,985 touring is fully charged. The first-specification Insight has 17-inch wheels, LED fog lights, side mirror turn signals, rain-sensing wipers, a solar roof, and chrome trims for door handles and rear bumpers. Inside, the Honda warm-up leather seats front power (eight-way driver, four-way passenger), a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual zone climate control, an automatic dimming rearview mirror, 450 watts audio with 10 speakers and a subwoofer, 4g LTE Wi-Fi and navigation. Due in part to the additional load of touring features, Honda has announced that the EPA ratings in this cutout fall to 51 mpg city, 45 mpg road.

The Toyota Prius ($24,395) is the next less expensive hybrid, and while it has the lock on recognizing the name of the house between hybrids right now, the new Insight seems as if it can finally get a chance to make an impact, Especially at these prices.
